A Safe Beginning for Every Mother and Baby
Our Maternity Unit is the heart of Safa Medical Complex. Led by experienced Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) and supported by qualified medical staff, we provide end-to-end maternity care — from your first antenatal visit right through to postnatal recovery. We understand that every birth is a precious moment, and we are here to make it as safe and comfortable as possible for both mother and baby.
Types of Deliveries We Offer
Normal Vaginal Delivery (NVD)
A natural birth attended by our skilled LHV and medical staff in a clean, monitored delivery room.
Caesarean Section (C-Section)
Minor elective and emergency C-sections performed by our doctor in a well-equipped procedure room with proper anaesthesia support.
Assisted Delivery
Ventouse or forceps-assisted deliveries when additional support is needed to ensure a safe outcome for mother and baby.
VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean)
For eligible mothers wishing to attempt a natural birth after a previous C-section, under close medical supervision.
High-Risk Pregnancy Delivery
Careful management of deliveries for mothers with gestational diabetes, hypertension, or other pregnancy complications.
Postnatal Care
Post-delivery monitoring and recovery support for mother and newborn, including breastfeeding guidance and newborn check-ups.
